This Lumbar Pad NASA Part ID # 10122-20002-01 (No S/N) was made by ILC Dover March 1985. This Lumbar Pad was Class I flight hardware and measures about 14" x 11". It was likely flown in space numerous times during the Space Shuttle Program

Astronauts have the option of using a Lumbar Pad during launch. Bulb is used to inflate the inner bladder to add comfort during launch.

There is no flight history for this Lumbar Pad.

Item is in very good condition with some visible wear from use. Included is a NASA storage poly bag. Lumbar Pad was purchased as NASA surplus.
