The Stowage Container, part # 10105-10002-01, was Class I flight hardware and was probably flown on one or more Space Shuttle Missions. It's made of a soft fabric (possibly Nomex) with no stiffener, as such, it requires the contents to maintain its shape. Without any contents it would appear flattened which was how it was probably stored when empty. The container measures 7"x5"x5".
Stowage Containers like this one were used to hold, among other items, the crew medical kit AKA, "MED KIT", during Shuttle missions. A Velcro label marked "Med Kit" or other content label would have been attached to the top Velcro square. When used as a "Med Kit" it would normally have been attached to the outside of a stowage locker in the mid-deck for easy and quick access.
This Stowage Container is in very good condition. The container was manufactured in April 1991 and was provided to NASA under contract by Boeing. Stowage Container was purchased as NASA surplus.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
