Astronaut Headrest Pillow Cover NASA Part ID #V669-002079-001 S/N 2D628-H05099 was probably flown in space during the Space Shuttle Program.
This Pillow Cover is made of Nomex and was Class I flight hardware. Astronauts could use these in a sleep station or with sleep restraints and a Sleeping Bag. The pillow can be wrapped to secure it or velcroed in place. There are three snaps used to secure the square foam pad that is inserted inside. There is no foam pad included. Last photo shows this item in use.
The Pillow Cover was purchased as NASA surplus. It's in very good condition.
