This Multimeter Kit Case was likely flown in space during the Space Shuttle Program. The case was custom designed to hold a John Fluke Mfg. Co. Fluke Series 80 Multimeter (not included). The case and meter it once contained were Class I flight hardware NASA Part ID #10118-10018-04 s/n 1008 as identified on the parts ID label attached to the front of the case.
The case is made of Nomex fabric with velcro on both sides. The main pocket held the meter and a small side pocket held the probes. The inside top of the cover contains a usage guide and a slotted pocket held a two sided reference guide. The Multimeter would have been used for measuring or testing AC/DC voltage, continuity, resistance, current, and other functions.
This case was supplied to NASA by Boeing in January 1993. There is no available flight history for this case. Case was purchased as NASA Surplus.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
