Space Shuttle Upper Arm TMG (Thermal Micrometeoroid Garment). Used with the EMU (Extravehicular Mobility Unit) spacesuit. Inside sewn in label reads "0103-82405-00.04, s/n X-04-2",and four diagonal red lines. This item is Class III used for astronaut training.
Upper Arm TMG measures about 12 x10. NASA acquisition cost was $7,000.00. Condition is very good, with signs of use and small tear as shown in photo. It was not used for training in the NBL or WETF as there are no signs of water damage. Included is NASA pink parts bag with two labels as shown. Purchased as NASA surplus. This TMG was constructed specifically for astronaut training.
